All our courses can be delivered in a variety of different ways. Some courses might have to be delivered in the classroom if there is a specific practical observation that would need to be carried out to achieve the standards of the qualification. EG- CPR.

Emergency First Aid at Work
If a workplace first aid risk assessment indicates the need for a First Aider in the Workplace, this three-day qualification fulfils the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Participants will acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to handle various workplace first-aid situations.
The course includes a comprehensive curriculum covering first aid, such as assessing and treating a casualty, dealing with injuries to bones, muscles, and joints (including suspected spinal injuries), chest injuries, burns and scalds, shock, choking, unconsciousness, and bleeding. It also covers recognising major illnesses (including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, and diabetes) and providing appropriate first aid. The course includes an assessment of knowledge and skills.
​This qualification is valid for 3 years.

This course covers topics such as CPR, minor injuries, choking, wounds, bleeding, shock, unconsciousness (including seizures), and the role of a first aider, including how to assess the situation and circumstances to act safely, promptly, and effectively.
If a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace, this one-day qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
The learner will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first-aid situations.
The FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is unit 1 of the three-day FAA Award in First Aid at Work qualification. By obtaining this qualification, learners could progress to completing unit 2 and being awarded the FAA Award in First Aid at Work.​
